Welcome to Intentional @ Home Thursday, a link party that goes live every Thursday morning at 7:00 am CST to share and encourage other women to live intentionally at home.
This Week on CHK:
- In my weekly newsletter I announced the brand new updated and expanded edition of Goals with Grace (formally The Goal Planning Workbook) which will be released later this spring. I’m super excited about this because it’s been a long time coming! You can get all the details here.
- It’s birthday week in our family! Yesterday my oldest turned 5 (I’m in complete denial). Tomorrow we are having his birthday party where we will present him with his first big boy bike (be still my heart). Then on Saturday we are celebrating my husband’s birthday. To say we will be eating our way through the week, is an understatement!
- We don’t really make a big fuss about Valentine’s Day, especially since my husband’s birthday is the day before, but this year it just so happens that Valentine’s Day fall on the Sunday before President’s Day so that means we have a long weekend (my husband works in a bank so he gets all Federal holidays off.) To take advantage of the long weekend, my husband and I are going on a quick overnight date!
Finally, since most of you who check in here each week are bloggers, I wanted to make sure you heard about this new FREE resource from Ruth of Living Well Spending Less. It’s called Blogging Made Simple and includes three powerful video lessons intended to help you eliminate the overwhelm and instead focus on the tasks that will help you make the biggest impact. If you are a blogger or have even just thought about blogging, you will NOT want to miss it! You can sign up for free here.
Alright, let’s move on to the good stuff!

My Personal Favorite
It was hard to choose one this week… so I chose two
Being an Undivided, Whole Hearted Mother from The Life of This Mother – very convicting, yet a good reminder to truly examine if my actions and to-do lists match up to my priorities. Plus she references my favorite book on motherhood too!
3 Ways to Use Stickers for Bible Journaling from His Purpose in Me – I probably wouldn’t use this method in my actual Bible but I would love to do with with my Bible Journal.
